Define what makes you different

The Difference with The BIG Idea Marketing

Let’s face it. When your business grows, life is easier. You aren’t so worried about the future. You  go on better vacations. You buy better wine.

I get that. I want to help you be the rockstar you’re meant to be so you can look in the mirror every morning and say, “I freakin’ did it. I’m living my dream.”

I can help your business grow. But I’m going to warn you. If you’re looking for someone to grind out a bunch of content so you can check all the boxes the experts say you need, that’s not me. I don’t do that anymore.

See, a business doesn’t grow because you have a pretty website, regular emails and daily blog posts. Those are just tools that spread your message. And without a clear message, business owners end up paying for all the “right” tools … but all those tools do spread noise

Noise confuses customers–and when they’re confused, they tune you out.

Differentiate What Makes You Different

I’ve been writing for over 15 years, and here’s what I’ve learned: in order for your business to grow, customers need to know why you’re different from your competitors.

If you don’t know why you’re different, THEY don’t either. So you’ll lose out to a competitor who is cheaper or who understands how important it is to have a clear message

Your brand “message” is the story that tells potential customers what makes your brand unique. It tells people what you’re about and why they can you. If the story of your brand isn’t clear, customers  won’t “hear” what you’re saying–so they’ll ignore you.

But with a clear message, YOU (and your staff and customers) will have the words to talk about your business in a way that is memorable and repeatable. People will start to listen. And then your business grows.

If you’re looking for a strategic copywriter who can help clear the confusion in your brand message, schedule a call. We’ll clearly define what makes you different so you start attracting, converting, and retaining customers.

Are You Confusing Your Customers?

If you haven’t defined what makes you different, you could be spending money on marketing that is confusing—and losing—customers.

I got tired of watching clients spend money marketing their products and services before they had a clear idea of who they were talking to and what they had to say. It made me change the way I do business. Today, I start by differentiating clients and developing a clear, strategic message that makes marketing far more effective.
